As Germany approaches a pivotal moment in its political landscape, we want to provide our community with insights into the country's political system, parties, and electoral process.

IMPRS-IS, in collaboration with the MPI-IS Culture Club, invites you to a one-hour interactive session exploring German Politics. Timed to coincide with the lead-up to the national elections, this event aims to inform and engage our doctoral community on key political themes and current developments.
This session will provide an overview of the German political system, major parties, election processes, and the social and economic issues shaping the current political debate. It will also highlight how these topics may impact academics, researchers, and international scholars in Germany.
Whether you're new to the German political system or seeking deeper context ahead of the elections, this session will be insightful and timely. There will also be ample opportunity for questions and discussion to foster a well-rounded understanding of the topic.
