In the dynamic landscape of academic research, the transition from doctoral studies to a professional career can be challenging. Through this training, we aim to equip scholars with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the competitive job market in Germany.
Understanding how to effectively apply for jobs is a crucial aspect of one's professional development.
Prof. Dr. Gresse's workshop not only provides essential guidance on crafting compelling resumes and cover letters but also imparts strategic insights into the intricacies of the application and selection processes specific to the German job market.
This workshop will provide participants with a general overview of industry-based application and selection processes in Germany. Applicants will learn about typical selection criteria in industrial companies and receive tips about what to include on their CV.
The training will also focus on the process of candidate interviewing, as participants engage in exercises to perfect their interviewing skills.
