A three-day in-person event for the CLS community
We are excited to announce that this year's CLS retreat is taking place from Monday 7th July to Wednesday 9th July 2025 on the banks of the River Rhein in the Swiss town of Bad Zurzach. The retreat will start with lunch on Monday and finish mid-afternoon on Wednesday. The event is hosted and organised by the ETH AI Center.
At this year's retreat we hope to welcome as many members of the CLS community as possible, from early stage PhD researchers through to faculty, in order to meet, connect, talk about projects, and get new inspiration. The program will include talk and poster sessions, faculty-led group discussions, a panel discussion with faculty, and a student-led workshop. There will also be time for small group and individual meetings, plus opportunities to enjoy the locality while networking with colleagues.

We will be based at the Dorint Parkhotel, Bad Zurzach, CH 5330. Journey time by car from Stuttgart and Tübingen is 2 - 2,5 hours; from Zurich usually under 1 hour. Please understand that the provided bus transfers will have a longer journey time - details about pick-ups will be sent directly to those who registered.
